Chestnut Homes 100-mile cycle challenge

Chestnut Homes is joining forces with one of Lincolnshire’s biggest charity bike rides to help ensure this year’s event can go ahead.

The Langworth-based housebuilder is among the companies sponsoring the 100-mile C2C2C charity bike ride, which takes place on Thursday 28^th June. 

So-called because it originally ran from Lincoln Castle to the coast and back, the C2C2C will this year feature a circular route specially designed to include several bomber command centres to mark the 100^th anniversary of the Royal Air Force.

Starting from Lincoln Rugby Club in Nettleham, riders will head out into the Lincolnshire Wolds, passing through Scothern, Bardney, Woodhall Spa, Horncastle and Market Rasen.

Last year 622 riders took part in the event, which is now in its eighth year.

As well as sponsoring this year’s event, a team from Chestnut Homes will be taking part in the ride, which is raising money for three charities: St Barnabas Hospice, International Bomber Command Centre and Cycling Without Age (Skegness).
