Following winning a ‘Family Tourism Award’ for its varied programme of family friendly entertainment the New Theatre Royal presents a brand-new Easter Pantomime of Alice in Wonderland.
Perfect for children and their families, this heart-warming classic tale follows the infamous White Rabbit (Christopher Johnson CBBC presenter) and Alice (Sophie Towns) along with The Mad Hatter, Caterpillar and Cheshire Cat on a journey down the rabbit hole with plenty of songs, dancing and laughter a long the way.
With a laugh out loud script brought to you by Patric Kearns (Dame Donna Kebab from Aladdin 2017) as the magnificent Queen of Hearts, Ian Crowe as the larger than life Mad Hatter, Chris Hayes as ‘Twinny Dee’ and charming choreography from two young local dance ensembles the Top Hats and Pocket Watches.
Natalie Hayes Cowley, In House Producer and Artistic Director of the New Theatre Royal explains;
It has been wonderful producing a brand-new Pantomime for Easter. The process from casting to our dress rehearsals today has been a real joy. We have a great cast full of energy and talent, who have really brought the script to life.
This is a feel good, light hearted Pantomime for young families to enjoy together.
Natalie continues…
