Be part of the University of Lincoln’s Lincoln Made Smarter project

Two opportunities at the University of Lincoln have arisen to help with a new exciting and transformative project, Lincoln Made Smarter.

Funded by Lincoln Towns Deal and set in the University of Lincoln, the project aims to ensure SMEs in Lincoln City adopt advanced technologies to drive economic growth.

The ‘Lincoln Made Smarter’ (LMS) scheme will accelerate the adoption and development of industrial digital technologies (IDTs) through focused support to SMEs to drive productivity.

LMS will support SMEs from basic awareness of the potential of digital adoption through to making transformational changes in the use of technology and the development of new products and systems.

 

The two available roles are:

Digital Business Development Manager –  The role will require a multi-faceted approach, from developing a network of businesses targeted at CEO level to raise awareness of the benefits behind the digital transformation process; to the delivery of programmes linking companies with academic expertise, specialist support and trials of new technologies or processes.

This vacancy closes on 10th May 2022.

 

Digital Project Co-ordinator – The candidate will be responsible for the overall administration for the delivery of the Lincoln Made Smarter programme and will suit someone with excellent project management skills. This post will support the Business Development Manager to deliver a wide range of activities including planning and leading events to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and help develop and deliver marketing campaigns/showcase best practice.
