Read MoreTrent Valley Electrical Services (TVES), a highly respected, family-run business based in Scunthorpe, has joined the Ongo group, as owners Jason and Debra plan for their retirement. TVES has built a reputation delivering expert services across industrial, commercial, agricultural, and domestic sectors, including solar and battery storage. The current owners were keen to find a partner that shares their values of employee development and community investment. They will become part of Ongo’s group of commercial companies under Hales & Coultas, as a fully owned subsidiary company. This marks a major milestone for Ongo in terms of growth, helping to strengthen their ability to deliver enhanced services, while creating new opportunities for colleagues and customers. The acquisition will expand Ongo’s commercial portfolio and open new opportunities in renewable energy, especially in areas such as solar and battery, as well as offering complete roof and solar installations, while supporting a commitment to growth and sustainability. Lee Coulson, Head of Commercial at Ongo said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Trent Valley Electrical Services into the Ongo family. This is a significant step forward for us, not just in terms of growth, but in the breadth and quality of services we can now offer. “TVES bring decades of expertise, a strong local reputation, and a forward-thinking approach, especially in the renewable energy space. Their capabilities in solar and battery storage align perfectly with our sustainability goals and open up exciting new opportunities for innovation and expansion. “Beyond the technical benefits, this move is about people. We’re gaining a team that share our values, investing in colleagues, supporting apprenticeships, and making a real difference in the community. It’s a natural fit, and we’re confident this partnership will bring long-term value to our customers, colleagues, and the wider region.” Eight TVES employees were welcomed into Ongo, ensuring continuity and further opportunities for training and development. Previous owners Jason and Debra will stay on for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition. To find out more about Ongo, their services and commercial companies, visit: www.ongo.co.uk.
