As we approach the end of 2025, I find myself reflecting with genuine pride on what has been a landmark year for Tradeglaze. Turning 30 is no small milestone for any business, and for us, it marks three decades of steady growth, continuous innovation, and an unwavering commitment to exceptional quality and customer care. This year has been shaped by investment - investment in our people, in our production capability, and in the ever-evolving product portfolio with which we support our customers across the East Midlands.
A Year of Growth, Quality and Innovation
Since our founding in 1995, Tradeglaze has been guided by a commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and doing things the right way. Those values remain as strong today as they were on day one. Throughout 2025, that same ethos drove significant improvements across the company, ensuring we maintain our position as one of the region’s most trusted names in premium glazing.
We strengthened relationships with long-standing partners, while also welcoming new customers across the trade, commercial, and domestic sectors - many of whom chose us because of our reputation for reliability, technical expertise, and outstanding service.
Strengthening Our Teams: Investing in People
Recruiting, developing, and empowering talented people continues to be central to our success and our identity. This year, we welcomed several exceptional new colleagues who have enhanced every part of the business.
Jonathon Price, joining us from Siemens, will take over from our long-serving Production Manager Kenny King, who concludes 16 remarkable years at the helm of our fabrication operations at the end of the year. Kenny’s influence on the high fabrication standards Tradeglaze is known and trusted for cannot be overstated.
We strengthened our customer support, sales, and finance teams to improve our response times and ensure consistency throughout the customer journey. Young talent continues to join the group too - an encouraging sign that Tradeglaze, Jackson Windows, Allenby Glass, remain an attractive, long-term career option in an industry that is notoriously difficult to recruit into.
Across the company, our teams have embraced upskilling, cross-training, and mentoring with enthusiasm. In a year marked by economic headwinds, their focus on efficiency, quality, and reliability has been remarkable.
Major Investments in Technology and Production
This year we continued our substantial investment in advanced manufacturing technology. We enhanced our uPVC production line with three new Wegoma welders, further increasing our precision, capacity, and consistency.
These upgrades help ensure we remain competitive and flexible, ready to support rising demand from regional housing developers, commercial contractors, and homeowners looking for energy-efficient, long-lasting, premium glazing solutions.
A New Showroom Experience for Our Customers
Another highlight of 2025 was the unveiling of our fully remodelled Tradeglaze showroom – an inspiring new space created in partnership with a local design and fit-out specialist, APSS. Our new showroom features full-scale working displays of Aluminium and uPVC windows, composite doors, our S67 sliding patio door, an internal heritage system, and the stunning new Spitfire entrance door range, complete with smart technology and premium finishes
Whether you are a homeowner, architect, installer, or developer, the space has been designed to make choosing the right glazing solution easier and more enjoyable than ever.
Expanding Our Product Portfolio
2025 marked the exciting addition of the Spitfire luxury entrance door ranges, offering some of the most advanced, stylish, and secure residential doors available in the UK. Our teams completed specialist training at Spitfire’s headquarters earlier this year to ensure we can support the range with full technical expertise.
Supporting Our Community
At Tradeglaze, we firmly believe we are part of a wider community. Through our involvement with Team Lincolnshire and the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, we continued collaborating with local suppliers, contractors, and industry partners, placing contracts locally wherever possible.
Our team raised vital funds for St Barnabas Hospice, Parkinson’s UK, Cancer Research, and various other causes, helping to raise thousands of pounds for charitable initiatives. Our colleagues once again demonstrated the compassion and team spirit that define our company culture.
Delivering Outstanding Projects
From large-scale housing developments with local builders to complex commercial installations and bespoke glazing for homeowners, we are proud to have supported the creation of hundreds of energy-efficient, thoughtfully designed living and working spaces.
Customer satisfaction has been particularly strong, with Tradeglaze finishing the year with an impressive 4.8-star rating, Jackson Windows at 4.7, and Allenby Glass at a perfect 5.0. These ratings reflect the trust our customers place in us and the pride our teams take in their work.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we head into 2026, our focus remains firmly on customer service, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. We will keep investing in our people and in the technology that supports them, ensuring Tradeglaze continues to be a strong partner for trade and domestic customers for the next 30 years.
I want to thank all our customers for entrusting Tradeglaze, Jackson Windows, and Allenby Glass with your projects; to our suppliers and partners for your ongoing support; and to our dedicated teams for your passion, professionalism, and hard work.
Thank you all for being part of our journey. I wish you and your families a joyful Christmas and a prosperous 2026.
