The Electric, located on the 5th floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln, has launched a new rum experience card to help rum fans and the curious to discover new rums and flavours. Local rum distillery Unconventional have partnered with The Electric to offer those who complete the rum experience card a chance to win 1 of 20 rum tasting experiences.
Sam Owen, MD of Unconventional commented “We are very happy to be able to partner with the Electric and offer some truly unique rum and exciting tasting experiences at our Lincoln distillery. You can have the opportunity to try our Pioneer pink, Time Machine and XO Coffee products, along with a variety of other great rums from around the world”.
The Unconventional Distillery was born from a passion for food and drink, developed by Sam after 15 years in the catering industry, and a love of rum of course. Using his skills and talents for creating new and complimentary flavours, Sam has turned his hand to creating ‘Botanically distilled premium craft English rum’.
Claire Graham, Electric Bar Manager, commented: “Gone are the days when rum was just a low priced sailor’s favourite. Rum is entering an exciting and innovative era to be explored by our discerning clientele.
