R J Hirst – Woodhall Spa Update

Long standing members of Select Lincolnshire, Russell and Sadie Hirst, who have supported the community with their outstanding service and hand made products for many years are having to say goodbye to their butchers and deli shop in Woodhall Spa. 

Sadie and Russell have supported the county tirelessly over the years and have on occasion been to Westminster with their award winning produce to enlighten Members of Parliament.  

Though small, the shop has been a vital part of many locals lives over the years and many of the returning tourists will call in to take home their favourite goodies from Russell's handmade burgers and steaks cut from the best sides of beef,  to Sadie's individually handmade  pork pies.

Unfortunately, they can no longer keep the shop open due to health reasons but they will still be around in many capacities. 

They are hoping that another local butcher will be able to purchase their equipment and start a new lease of the building and carry on their tradition of supporting the local economy for locals and tourist alike.
