Next phase of homes completed on East Common Lane

A further six homes have been handed over this month, as part of the second phase of brand new housing on East Common Lane in Scunthorpe.

The development includes 12 one-bedroom apartments, 11 three-bedroom homes and a further 11 two-bedroom homes for affordable rent.

All homes have been finished to a high standard internally and externally with private turfed gardens and special features including parking and hedgehog runs, linking into our commitment to the environment.

Georgie McGuire, Project Development Manager at Ongo said: “The homes are based in a prime location in Scunthorpe and offer a variety of options for local people.

“They look fantastic and it’s been great to receive so much positive feedback on them. We’re excited to be welcoming people into their new homes.

The first phase of this development was completed and handed over in July, the second in August, third will be in September and the final phase is due for completion in November of this year.

Along with ourselves, Homes England have funded the homes and Minster Developments Ltd are the appointed builders on site.

Those with an active account on Home Choice Lincs (www.homechoicelincs.org.uk) should look out for adverts at the end of September or beginning of October for the final phase of homes. These include one-bedroom apartments only.
