About People Plus (Lincoln)

We are currently linking with other referral partners in the area to grow our referrals further and to meet the needs of as many people in the area as possible. We work closely with a range of large employers in manufacturing and production, which are prominent in the Grimsby area. We also have a great relationship with a national supermarket and a leading high street retailer, who offer work experience and interviews to clients achieving a qualification in our academies.

We work closely with our employers to make sure our courses will teach learners the relevant skills that they will require on the job, and the candidates that we are putting forward are the right match for them.

We provide each learner with one to one support to help them with; CV’s, cover letters, interview skills, filling in application forms, identifying jobs in their local labour market and completing calculations to ensure the opportunity given to them makes them better off in work financially.

We run a number of frontline public services including employment support, skills training, apprenticeships, independent living, and prison education on behalf of the government, as well as recruitment, training and development and wellbeing solutions to employers. We aim to:

Support people to find and keep jobs, and help others set up their own businesses
Deliver skills and training to ensure people can access the right employment and enhance their career prospects
Help people live more independently with disability and carer support services
Reduce the risk of reoffending by tackling the root causes of crime and offending
Work with businesses to attract talent and develop workforces through apprenticeships and learning and development programmes.
Develop wellbeing strategies for businesses that look to improve mental health in the workplace.
