About Core Architects

Core Architects are a practice that is both design led and commercially aware. We aim to provide high quality and dedicated architects services at all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, from a projects inception to completion.

We have experience of both Traditional and Design and Build procurement and are happy to deliver working drawings from both the client and contractor side.

We have vast experience in all areas of developer led housing schemes and can work efficiently and collectively within tight timescales to produce both design based and technical information on a wide variety of development types.

We are proud of our proven track record in providing bespoke solutions to new and reconfigured homes for private clients. We work closely with our clients to understand the brief and site constraints to provide contemporary and imaginative design solutions.

We have enjoyed working directly and as part of a contractor led team with the University of Lincoln, Loughborough University, Nottingham University and Lincoln College on several further education projects including new lecture theatres, teaching spaces, social areas and administration facilities, within the constraints of academic requirements, deadlines and strict budgets.

We have worked on various commercial and office projects both locally and nationally, within tight timetables and budgets, directly with clients or as part of a design and build team.

The design teams at Core Architects have a long involvement with the design and construction of a wide variety of industrial and warehouse buildings. We have recently completed a new office and workshop complex in Lincoln and are currently working with developer clients to provide a new 28,000 m2 Business Park in Lincoln.

We provide architectural services to a number of national and local registered social landlords and Care developer clients, delivering numerous high quality Housing Association, Care Home, Assisted living and Primary care projects through these relationships.

Directors at Core Architects have designed and constructed numerous multi-million pound new build primary care doctors’ surgeries through the design and build process with third party developers nationally.

We have practised in all areas of leisure sector building including hotels, conference facilities, restaurants, licensed premises, sports facilities and swimming pools.

Directors at Core architects have provided architectural services for a number of blue chip clients working on projects and contracts types from new build retail centres to individual shop fit outs. Delivering retail projects within strict timescales and with third party co-ordination is a key experience we can offer.
