Lincs FM to become Hits Radio

Lincs FM to become Hits Radio

It’s a new era for Lincs FM as the station gets set to rebrand to Hits Radio Lincolnshire this April.

As you know, Lincs FM is already part of the Hits Radio Network, and this name change allows it to be more clearly linked as part of this bigger national brand, which brings more opportunities for the station in the long-term, including benefiting from a national marketing campaign.

Lincs FM breakfast host, Joseph Begley, will be on air as usual every weekday morning from 6 am & listeners will still be able to access all their local news and information for Lincolnshire, including traffic and travel.

The station will also carry on its vital support fundraising for disadvantaged young people within the community through its Cash for Kids charity.

Gary Stein, Group Programme Director for the Hits Radio Network said: “We are passionate about radio and the unique mix of companionship, information and entertainment that it offers and want to make sure it thrives in years to come.

The audio landscape has evolved dramatically in recent years and, thanks to advances in digital listening, there is even more choice for audiences than ever before.
By transforming into this nationally recognised brand, we’re really excited by the potential that the station has to grow.

Of course, all the local news and information that we know our listeners value remains, along with the music they love to soundtrack their day to. It’s Lincs FM but with a new name!

We’ll be in touch to tell you more about the new commercial opportunities and how you can benefit from national brand excellence whilst still gaining from our local market knowledge
