The Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a formal partnership with NHS Talking Therapies, aimed at supporting better mental health and wellbeing across workplaces in Lincolnshire and Rutland.
This collaboration brings together the Chamber’s commitment to supporting the region’s business community and NHS Talking Therapies’ expertise in evidence-based mental health support. Together, both organisations will work to create healthier, more resilient workplaces by equipping employers, HR professionals, and line managers with the tools and guidance needed to improve mental wellbeing and reduce sickness absence.
Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “We know that good mental health is not only vital for individuals but also for the sustainability of our businesses. This partnership is a significant step toward creating a proactive culture of wellbeing in workplaces across the region.”
“Through this collaboration with NHS Talking Therapies, we are equipping our members with access to expert-led workshops and practical resources.”
The partnership allows Chamber Members to access expert advice through NHS Employment Advisors, ensuring tailored support for managing mental health in the workplace. This added resource will help employers navigate complex situations, from early intervention and stress management to return-to-work planning and maintaining appropriate communication during periods of absence.
With one in four people experiencing a mental health issue at some point in their lives, the need for workplace awareness and action has never been greater. Through this partnership, the Chamber and NHS Talking Therapies are empowering businesses to not only meet their legal and ethical responsibilities but to foster a culture where mental health is openly supported and prioritised.
