Lincolnshire Action Trust are a registered charity working with a variety of agencies within the criminal justice system to reduce re-offending by working with offenders.

Established in 2000 to achieve the following purpose: The care, resettlement and rehabilitation of offenders, those at risk of offending and their families and dependents. We offer a range of training opportunities and employment support to prepare people for their release. We address some of the issues and challenges which have resulted in the offender's sentence.

Additional key services are also offered to their families and dependants, both during their time in prison and following their release. We deliver programmes from a number of settings within the justice system, from CFO3 in four local prisons and across the county of Lincolnshire, to our 'Departure Lounge' offering support to prisoners, and their families, at the point of release from HMP Lincoln, to projects like Young Oasis which helps young people living with a parent or guardian with a drug or alcohol addiction.

In November 2015 we merged with the families’ drug and alcohol support service Oasis. Oasis, also established in Lincoln in 2000, was set up by two families, acts to support the relatives of drug addicts and alcoholics. In recent years we have signposted families of offenders to Oasis for support and guidance.

We have established delivery arrangements with each of the statutory criminal justice agencies in Lincolnshire, and now also work in other locations throughout the region. We adopt a pro-active and innovative partnership approach to developing provision to meet identified needs of our various client groups, and this has been the basis for our growth. Our reputation is based on high quality, deliverable provision that meets the needs of all parties.
