Today we are launching the annual Greater Lincolnshire Construction and Property Awards 2021, taking place on Thursday 22nd April 2021 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln.
The awards have grown year on year, celebrating and bringing together vision, innovation and support for the businesses working in the sector across Greater Lincolnshire. 2020, the awards biggest year yet, saw companies, including; Waldeck, EV Camel, Lincoln Security and Willmott Dixon take home the winning trophies.
Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive, Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “We know how important it is to continue the momentum of the awards, recognising the industry in the best and safest way possible.
“It’s been a testing year for everyone, but we won’t let that stop us celebrating the very best of the construction and property industry here in Lincolnshire.”
There are a slightly reduced number of categories up for nomination for 2021, these are:
– Apprentice/Young Achiever of the Year
– Consultancy of the Year
– Development Project of the Year (Over £5 million)
– Development Project of the Year (Under £5 million)
– Residential project of the Year
– Sustainable Project of the Year
– Greater Lincolnshire Ambassador (this is chosen by the judges)
Open to all businesses in the Construction and Property sector in Greater Lincolnshire, the awards are free to enter and businesses can enter more than one project. Businesses wishing to enter can do so via the link here.
Tickets are now on sale, but please bear in mind the capacity is reduced to stay in line with governmental safety guidelines, so we expect them to sell out fast! Click here to book your ticket.
Simon added: “The awards are our largest gathering in our event calendar, however this year things will a little different and the event may be subject to capacity restrictions to allow us to meet any social distancing requirements.
“We are confident that we can implement social distancing guidance, whilst still delivering a great event and we would love for you all to be a part of the awards again in 2021, as it is important now more than ever before that we celebrate, encourage and support Lincolnshire Construction and Property businesses and these awards play a vital part in doing that.”
Award entries will close on 6th November and all shortlisted businesses will be announced on 7th December.
