Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and East Midlands Chamber joined forces to create the ITOPS award, a practical qualification designed to prove that candidates have the necessary skills to accurately operate in an international trade administration environment.  Delegates learn how to avoid costly mistakes and improve their international trade procedures over the four day course. Some previous delegates have saved their employers thousands of pounds.

Steve Townsley from Fidelitas Training who helped candidates to achieve these top marks says

“I write and teach many types of programme up to degree level and the ITOPS programme is my favourite because of the practical benefits it provides in the shortest possible time.  This course helps businesses operate professionally, accurately and with confidence, avoiding the many difficulties that exporters face.

The set-up at Lincoln is excellent and this group was incredibly successful.”

The course is suitable for anyone employed in an international trade environment - whether that of a manufacturer/supplier or freight forwarder.  To find out more please contact the International Trade team at the Chamber.
