Lincolnshire Chamber Chair, Gary Headland to lead Climate Change Panel

Nationally, 9 out of 10 directors and managers believe that business leaders should be taking action to mitigate climate change; and 4 out of 5 directors and managers state that their business is already taking action to tackle climate change.

With this, Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Gary Headland will be leading a Climate Change Panel discussion at Lincolnshire Business Expo on 15th January 2020 at the Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground.

The top three actions already taken to tackle climate change are:

· Reducing the amount of waste produced
· Introducing energy saving initiatives across the business
· Reducing the amount of travel undertaken

What’s missing?

Gary has assembled an expert panel to offer different perspectives on this huge challenge for all of humanity.

Gary will be joined by:

· Professor Libby John, Pro Vice Chancellor/Head of College of Science and Engineering at University of Lincoln
· Richard Jones, the Managing Director of EV Cameland Amelio Solar Energy
· Steff Wright, Chief Executive of the Gusto Group
· Councillor Ric Metcalfe, Leader of the City of Lincoln Council

As a membership organisation and business voice of the Lincolnshire business community, we are really keen to understand how important this is to our businesses and explore ways to tackle this worldwide problem together, so please take part in the Our Environment in Lincolnshire surveyclick here.
