Exam Success for Lincoln Security Employees

September 2019 has seen a number of exam successes for Lincoln Security's administration, accounts and surveying team members with four of our team members completing courses. Matthew Cragg, Kelsey Groom, David Rawlinson and Jordan Farrar all breathed a sigh of relief as their grades were announced. Kelsey Groom Kelsey Groom, our Locksmith Administrator recently passed her Level 2 in ‘Business Administration’ from Lincoln College, the course involved on the job learning whilst working with our locksmith installation manager, completing coursework and sixth monthly PDR’s. Keen to continue with her studies, Kelsey is currently undertaking her level 3 in ‘Team Leading’. “I’m excited to start my level three in team leading as I will get to expand my knowledge of managing staff and grow my qualifications. I’d like to progress to an administration manager over the next few years and this qualification will enable me to progress towards this” Jordan Farrar Jordan Farrar, our Finance Assistant has recently completed his AAT Level 3 and has also just achieved AATQB status, making him an AAT bookkeeping member. Level 3 tested Jordan’s strengths in areas such as tax, bookkeeping and excel spreadsheets at an advanced level. “I came to Lincoln Security for work experience four years ago when I was 15 and really enjoyed it, I knew straight away that accountancy was the route for me”. He is now currently studying AAT Level 4 which will be his final year. “Becoming Level 4 AAT qualified has always been my goal, but I am always looking for ways to better myself - studying Chartered Accountancy may be the next path I take”. Staff are given time during work hours to study and complete coursework and encouraged to seek out courses they believe will help them improve in their job and help develop their careers.
