The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, has announced that the government will publish the Budget on Wednesday 3 March 2021.
The Budget, according to the government, will set out the next phase of the plan to tackle the virus and protect jobs.
Whilst there is much talk about the possibility that it will include details of increases in taxation, it is widely recognised that now might not be the right time, as this could impact on economic recovery. However, we should be prepared for potential changes.
This presentation by Streets Chartered Accountants will be led by Corporate Tax Partner Luke Prout, Private Client Tax Partner Jennie Brown and head of our personal financial planning arm Sam Tindale.
Our presentation will include:
– A review of the announcements made by the Chancellor
– Guidance on the impact of changes for individuals and businesses
– An indication as to the steps to be taken to deal with the announcements
All those who register for the event will receive a digital copy of our free Budget Report which includes a summary of the announcements and changes, and a recording of the presentation following the event.
