The Lincolnshire Cyber Security Forum

Our June meeting will be focusing on:

• Cyber Crime Insurance – All you need to know about making a claim following a cyber-attack and what is covered as part of Cyber Essentials

• Bouncing Back after COVID: This Q&A session will be about re-inducting staff back into the workplace, reminding them of good cyber security policies and behaviour after over a year away

• We will also hear from Lincolnshire Police Cyber Crime Unit and Industry experts about the latest cyber-attacks and scams and those linked to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Forum cluster is a collaborative group that network together exploring how best to reduce Cyber Crime across Lincolnshire and beyond.

Our meetings feature industry expert speakers including Lincolnshire Police, EMCRC, NCSC, PDSC, Businesses, Academics, and experts from the FSB.

The Forum provides attendees with access to the latest information on emerging cyber threats, criminal trends, best safeguarding practice, new technology, and staff training. We offer you advice and guidance on how to prepare, and protect your business, staff, and customers from cyber criminals.

10.15 Monthly Update from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
10.20 Cyber Crime Insurance – All you need to know about making a claim and what is covered. This is a Question & Answers Session with a Panel of Experts including Shaune Worrall of the British Insurance Brokers Association hosted by Neil Sharpley.
11.10 Bouncing Back after COVID – Returning back to the new normal working. This is a Question & Answers Session with a Panel of Experts hosted by Katrina Pierce.
