We are delighted to be joined by our keynote speakers for the evening: Steven Lynch MBE, Director of International Trade at British Chambers of Commerce

Steven has a wealth of experience in international relations and has previously served as the Managing Director of the British Chamber of Commerce in China, and Chairman of the Institute of Directors China Group.

A dynamic and trusted leader, Steven has worked across government and the private sector to build commercial partnerships, navigate geopolitical risk, and champion UK business interests overseas. During his keynote address Steven will explore:

· The strengths of the BCC network in supporting international trade

· The launch of the new Diplomatic Advisory Hub

· Trade accelerators and how they can support British businesses in global markets

Mark is an accountant and chartered tax adviser with over 30 years’ experience supporting individuals and businesses worldwide. As Tax Director and Head of International at Duncan & Toplis, he specialises in cross‑border tax planning, risk management, M&A, due diligence, and restructuring.

He joined the firm in 2004 and has since developed its international services. Mark also serves as Chair of Kreston Global’s Tax Group, collaborating with professionals across more than 110 countries to support multinational clients with strategic, tax‑efficient solutions.

We are pleased to confirm that David Kelly, Executive Director at the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore will be joining us for the evening and will be available to share insights and trade opportunities when engaging with Singapore and the wider ASEAN markets.

David Kelly is the Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, representing British business interests and connecting companies to opportunities across Southeast Asia. He CoChairs Britain in South East Asia (BiSEA) and serves as a Non-Executive Director (International) on the Board of the British Chambers of Commerce.

Before joining the Chamber, David was Regional Director at the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST), where he led an Asia-Pacific expansion that doubled membership from 11,000 to 23,000. He also chaired the UK’s Marine Industries Leadership Council (MILC) Image Working Group (2014–2016).

Previously, he managed global marketing turnarounds for the IWSC Group across the UK, US, and Asia, and the financial services sector. Passionate about mentoring and lifelong learning, David has mentored students at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the University of Hull and served on the Singapore Institute of Technology’s Marine Programmes Industry Advisory Committee (2016–2020).
Originally from Manchester, UK, he has lived in Singapore since 2015.
