Connecting Charities, Sharing Challenges, Driving Change
Join us for our quarterly Charity Roundtable, a morning of open conversation, collaboration, and inspiration for local charities and nonprofit professionals.
This session, we’re honoured to welcome Heidi Freeman, CEO of The Butterfly Hospice, our Charity of the Year, will open the event with a presentation on the Hospice’s vital work and the incredible impact it has on the local community.
About The Butterfly Hospice
Based in Boston, Lincolnshire, The Butterfly Hospice provides compassionate palliative care and holistic support for patients aged 18+ and their families, 24/7. Patients are referred by healthcare professionals for respite, symptom control, or end-of-life care.
The Hospice is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, offering comfort, dignity, and personal choice in a welcoming hospice setting. Their expert clinical team, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and spiritual care providers, deliver personalised care with empathy and professionalism.
Support extends beyond the clinical, with fresh, homemade meals prepared on request, and visits from Therapy Dogs Nationwide, whose friendly canine companions bring moments of joy and connection to patients and families alike.
Following the presentation, we’ll open the floor for a relaxed group discussion. This is a chance to share your experiences, explore common challenges, and discover new ideas to support each other and strengthen your organisation’s impact.
