After discovering a passion for all aspects of company and revenue law, Kate started her first role in the accountancy industry training “on the job” and hasn’t looked back. Kate initially qualified as a chartered accountant in 2003 and then continued studying and completed her chartered tax advisor qualification in 2008.
She loves meeting people and discussing businesses with business owners, and thrives on getting involved in challenging situations and ensuring the best outcome for the client.
Richard joined Nicholsons in 2004, was appointed as a Partner in 2007 and became a Director in 2016. He helps his clients understand the numbers behind their business so that they can explore routes to improving profitability and business growth through informed decision making.
Richard has a wide range of clients from independent traders and owner managed family businesses to large groups of companies, social enterprises and charities across a wide range of industries and sectors. He has particular experience in the creative media and technology, international, independent consultants and industrial wholesaler sectors.
