Elevating a Local Health Practice: New Website Design for Eight Branches in Lincoln

LMRT design recently delivered a new website for Eight Branches, a respected Lincoln-based practice offering acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and reflexology. The goal was clear from the outset: to create a site that didn’t just look good, but one that conveyed calm, professionalism, and care – the values at the heart of the practice.

The existing website had become outdated. While it had served its purpose, it no longer reflected the depth or credibility of the services provided. Founder Alison Seymour was looking for a design that would feel trustworthy and approachable, aligning with the core ethos of the practice.

“I want to convey the image of caring, approachable and professional. Someone you feel safe with, highly qualified and who you would trust to support restoration or maintenance of good health,” she explained.

That vision shaped every design decision that followed. LMRT began by reviewing healthcare websites Alison admired, with an emphasis on clarity, warmth, and a strong sense of trust. The final design reflects the integrative nature of Eight Branches, where acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine form the foundation, and reflexology is offered as a supportive therapy.

From the calming colour palette to clean, intuitive navigation, every visual element was carefully selected to create a welcoming and credible online presence. Attention was also given to the content structure and tone, ensuring that the website accurately represented Alison’s expertise and values.

Behind the scenes, LMRT ensured that the site was fully optimised for search engines, targeting relevant keywords such as acupuncture Lincoln, Chinese herbal medicine Lincolnshire, and reflexology in Lincoln. This gives the practice a much stronger chance of being discovered by people actively looking for these services online.

During the process, the team at LMRT gained a deeper understanding of the wide-ranging benefits of Chinese herbal medicine – including its role in fertility support, menopause, sleep, digestion, pain, and immune health. That insight helped shape the way the content was structured, creating a site that informs as well as inspires confidence.

Feedback on the new website has been overwhelmingly positive. Alison shared comments throughout the project such as:

“Everything looks perfect,”

“It looks wonderful,”

and “Honestly, the website looks stunning.”

The new site now gives Eight Branches a professional and credible digital presence – one that supports the growth of the practice while remaining true to its core values.
