Eight families will benefit from brand new bungalows in Scunthorpe

Building has begun on Ongo‘s eight brand new bungalows off Bridges Road in Scunthorpe.

The homes, which are located next to the Trent View House high rise flats in Scunthorpe and will all be for affordable rent. All will come with level access, wet rooms, private gardens, BT super-fast broadband and Virgin Media Installed.

These bungalows are being built by local contractors TG Sowerby and are part of our promise to provide housing options for all.

Amy Schoenmaker, Development Project Manager said: “We’re excited to offer another fantastic scheme in Scunthorpe, that eight families in need can really benefit from.

“The land they’re being built on was run down, so it’ll make a real improvement to the area. Bungalows are always high in demand and go down really well when it comes to advertising so we’re expecting a lot of interest in them.”

The homes have been funded by Homes England are due for completion next summer.
