Read MoreLincolnshire’s North Kesteven District Council has renewed a three-year commercial property management contract with Eddisons, following the conclusion of a competitive tender process.
Eddisons, whose Lincoln office is on Westgate, was first awarded the contract to manage the District Council’s property portfolio of leased offices and industrial & business units it owns across the district area in 2020.
At that time, the portfolio ranged across eight key commercial property sites in the North Kesteven area, including Discovery Court & Blackwood Court in North Hykeham, Moorlands in Metheringham and Navigation Yard in Sleaford, among other locations.
The new contract sees Eddisons manage a portfolio which includes the recent addition of the high profile Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park – a new-build strategic employment site on which Eddisons acts as the commercial letting agent on plots totalling over 40,000 sq ft.
Associate Director, Charlotte Elkington will lead the Eddisons team in managing the Council’s commercial properties.
Speaking about the renewal of the contract, she said, “Our success in being reappointed by North Kesteven District Council is a testament to the quality of our service and the solid relationships we have built with its business tenants at the various locations since first awarded the contract.
“These are things we were able to bring to the robust tender we submitted and look to reinforce under the new contract as part of our service.
“We are looking forward to working with the Council and its commercial tenants in adding value to the portfolio’s performance through our effective management of the assets which encompasses strategic property advice, building consultancy services, as well as managing lease events.”
Council Leader Councillor Richard Wright said, “We have built a strong relationship with Eddisons and are really pleased to continue that by renewing the commercial property management contract, following a thorough procurement exercise.
“We have been working with Eddisons for five years and the partnership continues to flourish. We are very happy with the service Eddisons provides and it is important for us to use a local agent who knows the patch well and understands the market.
“As we continue to develop new units, most recently at Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park, we have every confidence in Eddisons to continue to work well in the interests of both the Council and our tenants.”
