Duncan & Toplis appoints new Assurance Director in Derby

Charles Burrell has joined Duncan & Toplis to head up the audit team in Derby and grow the company’s client base

Duncan & Toplis, one of the UK’s largest professional services groups, has appointed Charles Burrell to its leadership team in Derby.

Joining as Assurance Director, Charles will play a key role in expanding the Duncan & Toplis portfolio in the city and support the company’s ongoing growth ambitions. 

With over 15 years of experience, Charles brings with him extensive audit knowledge, working with large clients in a range of sectors including charity, manufacturing, healthcare and automotive. He has held senior audit roles at leading organisations across the East Midlands, where he played a key role in scaling business and driving strategic growth. 

His appointment comes at a pivotal time, as Duncan & Toplis marks one year since opening its first location in Derbyshire, enabling the business to provide deeper, more tailored advice to clients in Derby and beyond. 

Speaking of his appointment, Charles Burrell said:
