Grant of up to £5,000 available to support business digitisation

The Digital Accelerator Scheme is an exciting new Accelerator programme for new and early-stage businesses in Lincoln, to support recovery from the impact of the pandemic.

Delivered through the University of Lincoln, the Digital Accelerator Scheme aims to give your business a big boost towards digitalisation, offering up to £5000 in grant funding, support for your business and your very own Digital Growth Plan!

What is digitalisation?

Digitalisation is the use of technology to transform and improve a business model, increase revenue and streamline processes.

This might mean different things for different types of business, from website and app development to mobile payment technology, ecommerce platforms or customer management software.

What’s included:

  • Up to £5000 grant funding
  • Specialist Workshops
  • Digital Growth Plan

You can use the Digital Accelerator Scheme to:

  • Set up an Ecommerce website
  • Introduce online booking systems
  • Buy or develop some software
  • Access a Digital Consultant
  • Introduce electronic payment methods
  • Improve the way you communicate
  • Manage your teams better
  • Facilitate flexible working
  • and more!

Please ensure that you fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  • You are currently trading
  • You have been in business for less than 24 months
  • Your business is based in the City of Lincoln
  • A retail, hospitality/tourism or digital business
