Boston Christmas Markets cancelled due to further lockdown

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the announcement of a further lockdown, it is with regret that Boston Borough Council and Boston Town Area Committee have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the following upcoming events:

– Boston Christmas Market – Thursday 26th November

– Boston Christmas Hamlet – Thursday 26th November – Sunday 29 November

– Boston Craft Markets which were due to take place on Thursday 5th, 12th and 19th November and Thursday 3th December.

At this stage they intend to run Craft Markets on Thursday 10th and 17th December but these will be reviewed closer to the time.

They would also like to inform you that the Blossoms Fire Garden organised by Transported and Boston Borough Council with funding from ACE and Boston Town Area Committee will be postponed until February 2021 as they look towards spring, new beginnings and a new season.

The Illuminate celebration for #onesmallcandle will proceed, where they invite all residents, shops, businesses to illuminate the town by placing a candle or lantern in their windows on the 26th November, giving thanks and expressing positive hope for the future.

This part of the project is also wider across the Pilgrim Roots partners, share your pictures on social media with #onesmallcandle – more information can be found https://www.visitbostonuk.com/one-small-candle/
