Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire: Here to Help

Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire are working hard in these unprecedented times to support their customers.

As they navigate our way through these challenging and ever changing times, they wanted to reassure you that they are working hard to ensure the continuation of their services for those who need them the most.

Although the way they deliver some of their services may change over the coming weeks and months, their commitment to their customers and older people will not change.

All current initiatives:

In partnership with Salted Orange Food Co.: 21 Meals for just £20

This week they took their first order from Australia – a concerned family member ordering meals for an older relative in Lincoln.

Fundraising

They are fundraising to support their project Emergency Coronavirus Appeal.

Donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/AgeUKCoronavirus

Your selfless donation could go towards:

– Emergency food packages for older people in Lincolnshire.

– Shopping, medication delivery and other essential supplies to those in self-isolation.

– Vital phone calls from one of our incredible Befrienders to combat loneliness in this frightening time.

– Welfare checks and making adaptations to the homes of older people where necessary.

– Providing information and advice which includes benefit claims and checks .

With thanks to local printers Visual Print and Design for the printing of marketing literature and food prep/storage guidelines to support this project.
