The British Hamper Company, Lincolnshire-based family business, is celebrating its latest phase of growth following another year of strong performance and strategic investment.
Since launching its own exclusive range of Great Taste Award winning British artisan produce in September 2024, the company has continued to build momentum, having grown 40% since the ecommerce highs seen in COVID. This sustained success has driven unprecedented demand for The British Hamper Company’s products across retail, export, corporate and direct-to-consumer markets.
In December 2025 alone, the business achieved a 13% increase in sales, delivering over 30,000 hampers to loved ones and colleagues across the world, underlining the strength and resilience of the brand during a challenging economic climate for both businesses and consumers.
Commenting on the company’s continued growth, James Tod, Managing Director of The British Hamper Company, said:
“This next stage of growth is a really exciting moment for the business. Our success is driven by an incredibly dynamic and committed team along with a growing community of loyal, repeat customers who have supported us year after year which has allowed us to invest in better ranges, better service and an even stronger gifting experience ”
To future-proof its growth strategy and support increasing demand, The British Hamper Company has partnered with Lemonpath Logistics, a Leicestershire-based fulfilment specialist. This strategic partnership significantly enhances the company’s operational capacity, enabling the business to scale from packing approximately 2,500 hampers per week during the peak season to up to 10,000 hampers per week.
The move supports greater scalability across corporate, retail, export and consumer orders, providing improved lead times, increased stock holding, and the ability to deliver larger, bespoke contracts with greater efficiency – while continuing to offer the premium, hand-packed hampers customers know and love.
Lemonpath Logistics is BRCGS certified, meeting the most widely recognised and globally respected standard for food safety and quality management. This accreditation provides added assurance of excellence, compliance and consistency across the supply chain as The British Hamper Company continues to expand.
Commenting on the company’s move to Lemonpath, James Tod, Managing Director of The British Hamper Company, said:
Over the last 12 years, we’ve proudly grown our pick-and-pack operation in-house. But as a highly seasonal business, there is a point where even a well-run warehouse cannot scale fast enough at peak. In December 2025 we reached that ceiling, dispatching more than 30,000 hampers.
With demand forecast to exceed 50,000 hampers over the next 18 months, we’ve made a strategic move to protect quality while giving us the headroom to grow. Our ambition is to take the best of British global, and to scale peak trading towards £10m+ turnover over the next few years.
Because the unboxing experience is central to our brand, choosing the right partner was non-negotiable. We tested the model through peak season, and Lemonpath packed more than 10,000 of our hampers to our exacting specifications, helping us maintain the detail, care, and consistency our customers expect.’’
Jo Taylor – Sales and Commercial Director for Lemonpath adds to this; “We’re proud to support The British Hamper Company at such an exciting stage of its growth. Their brand is built on quality, detail and an exceptional customer experience and our role is to ensure that standard is protected as they scale.
Supporting more than 10,000 hampers during peak season proved that premium, hand-packed gifting can grow rapidly without compromising care or compliance. We’ve created the operational headroom needed to unlock their next phase of expansion in the UK and overseas.
We’re proud to support a fellow ambitious Midlands business and look forward to playing our part as they take the best of British to customers around the world.”
In addition to its logistics investment, The British Hamper Company has also relocated its headquarters from its well-known Great Northern Terrace site to the heart of historic Lincoln. The new headquarters at The Lawn, situated on Union Road, offers a fit-for-purpose space designed to support the company’s next stage of expansion.
The new premises provide increased capacity for the growing Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing and Operations teams and reflect the business’s fast-paced growth plans as it continues to strengthen its position as a leading British gifting brand.
James Tod comments; Relocating to The Lawn keeps us rooted in Lincoln, right at the heart of the city. It gives us a brilliant setting for client meetings, new marketing initiatives and a genuinely inspiring place for our team to do their best work. And on a personal note I’m enjoying the novelty of taking on Steep Hill a couple of times a week since the move – I’d like to think it helps burn the shortbread!
