This month’s event is being hosted by Public Sector Partnership Services Ltd who work with South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership, we will hear from Kiera Marsters, Procurement Manager who will present an overview of the procurement process and how to navigate it.
Kiera Marsters will introduce PSPS and the relationship they have with East Lindsey, Boston Borough and South Holland District Council’s providing useful knowledge to interested suppliers wanting to supply to the Public Sector, in particular the 3-client council’s which they work for providing useful information on thresholds, details on their e-Tendering system, and Contracts Finder.
She will also give an update on the Partnership’s new Social Value criteria which will influence procurement procedures in the future noting the emphasis the Client Councils have on this.
At the end of the session there will be an interactive Q&A session so you can discuss any areas of concern that may be putting you off bidding for works or services within the Council.
Having previously worked within the private sector, Kiera has a strong background in procurement. With almost 6 years’ experience procuring goods and services in a diverse range of environments. Currently working towards her CIPS Level 4. Gaining valuable and transferrable knowledge in the healthcare, science and education industries. With a particular focus on the development and implementation of new processes and strategies. Looking forward to gaining a deeper understanding of Public Sector Procurement.
