City of Lincoln Council Social Responsibility Charter  

The aim of the Lincoln Social Responsibility Charter is to encourage organisations in Lincoln to undertake socially responsible activities which benefit both their employees and the local community. Join the Chart by committing to socially responsible activities and promote your business. 

West Lindsey striving to reduce their carbon footprint and enhance the environment 

In November 2019, the council resolved to make the council’s activities net-zero carbon by 2050. To assist in achieving this the council has developed a Sustainability, Climate Change and Environment Strategy which was unanimously approved by the council in June 2021.  

Rutland Shared Prosperity Fund  

Rutland County Council were allocated UK Shared Prosperity Funding to spend on projects over three priorities: 

• communities and place 

• local business support 

• people and skills
