The LincolnshireLive Business Awards are coming soon, and we’re extremely excited to have the opportunity to celebrate businesses and businesspeople around the county that excelled despite a challenging year.

Tickets are free and available now, so to register for the event go to www.lincsbusinessawards.co.uk.

Over the last year, businesses across Lincolnshire have worked to overcome a variety of obstacles thrown up by the coronavirus pandemic, which put many of them in precarious positions. We think it’s vital to show how companies and their employees have managed to overcome adversity and do something great, in an effort to show people a positive side of business after a challenging year.

One of the finalists this year is the Lincoln Tea and Coffee Company. Susie Carlisle, a co-founder of the company, said “We are thrilled and proud to be finalists in both the Lincolnshire Small/Medium Business of the Year award and the Innovation award.”

“We are a family business who is driven by integrity, to our customers, our team and the environment. We develop supportive partnerships and strive to be innovative with our services and products. We are really looking forward to celebrating with our team.”

The ceremony this year will be held at 6:30pm on March 24, at a virtual event that will see a variety of businesses and individuals recognised for their excellence in different sectors of the business world.

The host of the awards is presenter Kirsten O’Brien, a familiar presence on screens and radio with more than two decades of experience presenting.

“I’m so looking forward to hosting the the Lincolnshire Business Awards, it’s always great to see what amazing things local businesses have been up to but against the backdrop of the year we’ve just had I’m sure the stories will be all the more incredible, plus it’s a rare chance these days to dress up!”

There are 12 categories this year, designed to highlight the various ways in which Lincolnshire businesses have excelled.

There are nominees who have innovated around the coronavirus pandemic and kept growing nonetheless, businesses and individuals that have continued to pursue and provide vital social and environmental projects and services, and some organisations that have worked directly to alleviate the negative impact of the pandemic on people.

If you would like to get a glimpse into how businesses have worked to succeed over the last year, why not book a ticket for the ceremony. Tickets are free, and you can register at www.lincsbusinessawards.co.uk .
