Visual Print and Design and Allen Signs partner up for six-figure local authority project

Two Lincoln companies, Visual Print and Design and Allen Signs, have recently joined forces after being awarded a six-figure contract to produce and install signage for Buckinghamshire Council following their recent rebrand.

Bringing together the county and four district councils, in May 2019 the government confirmed plans for a single unitary council including a brand-new name for the organisation, Buckinghamshire Council. Following in-house development of the branding, the new logo was agreed and unveiled by the Council in October and the unitary council came into being on 1 April 2020.

Over the last 6 months the new look has been rolled across over 50 sites and Buckinghamshire Council turned to Visual Print and Design, one of their trusted print partners since 2017, to help them implement the new brand.

Visual Print and Design work in partnership with various businesses across the UK, supplying them with a wide selection of expert print and design services and recently collaborated with local signage company, Allen Signs, to help fulfil Buckinghamshire Council’s requirements.

Graham Hunstone, Managing Director of Visual Print and Design said:

“Since the start of the year, we’ve been working with Allen Signs to install hundreds of signs across more than 50 sites for Buckinghamshire Council to help them with the transition of multiple councils coming together. We believe in the importance in setting up strategic partnerships to benefit the local economy and it’s been a pleasure working with the team at Allen Signs for this project”

Glen Merryweather, Sales and Marketing Director of Allen Signs added:

“It’s been exciting to partner with the team at Visual Print and Design to help fulfil the signage requirements of their client, Buckinghamshire Council. We look forward to collaborating with them even more in the future.”

Emma Denley, previously Head of Communications at Buckinghamshire County Council and the lead for the rebranding project said:

“The new Buckinghamshire Council logo symbolises a new beginning at the same time as bringing the current five councils together towards a shared future. We’d like to say a massive thank you to Visual Print and Design for their hard work in helping us roll out our new look across the County this year, especially when progress was delayed at the start due to the lockdown.”
