Read MoreLincoln Bishop University’s Marketing and Communications Team has been shortlisted for Marketing Team of the Year at the prestigious HEIST Awards 2026, with the ceremony set to take place on Thursday 9th July. The shortlisting recognises an exceptional year for the team, placing them among the UK’s top-performing higher education marketing departments. The award celebrates excellence in creativity, strategic thinking and measurable impact across the sector. Despite being a small team they deliver the University’s full spectrum of marketing, student recruitment and communications activity and play a vital role in the University’s long-term strategic ambitions laid out in Strategy 2030. At the heart of this year’s success has been the University’s major rebrand and name change, a transformative project that has shaped its identity and positioning within the higher education sector. UCAS applications to Lincoln Bishop are up by over 20% this year – five times the sector average. James Seymour, Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for Marketing Team of the Year at the HEIST Awards 2026. As a small team, it’s been a huge year for us, and this recognition really means a lot. “I’m so proud to work with such a dedicated group of colleagues, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see their hard work recognised in this way.” Over the last 30 years the HEIST Awards have established themselves as the most prestigious accolades in higher education marketing, celebrating outstanding achievements across the UK and beyond. Organised by Havas People, the awards highlight best practice in student recruitment, brand development and communications, recognising individuals and teams who are making a significant impact across the sector.
