Midlands Connect A46 Conference

Join Midlands Connect as we outline our 20-year vision for the A46, which could boost the economy by £7.1 billion over 60 years!

Stretching for 155 miles from Gloucestershire to Lincolnshire, the A46 corridor is home to 5.5 million people and 2.9 million jobs, with an economic output of £115 billion, nearly 10% of the English economy.

However, with 600,000 new residents, 150,000 new jobs and 250,000 new homes expected within the corridor by 2041, improvements are necessary to ensure the A46 can support such growth. We have developed a 20-year vision for the route which could boost the economy by £7.1 billion over 60 years and are seeking Government support for the work.

The A46 Conference will take place on Tuesday 14 June at Coventry University Technology Park. We will hear from representatives of Midlands Connect, Midlands Engine and representatives from Local and National Government for a number of keynote speeches and panels.

The conference will be an interactive event and there will be plenty of chances for attendees to ask questions and engage with topics of discussion.
