Join us for our January face-to-face Louth Chamber Network.
All businesses in Louth and surrounding areas are invited to this network, kindly hosted by Wilkin Chapman LLP.
Workplace discrimination can take many forms, occurring covertly or directly.
Employers should take a proactive approach in tackling these issues, keeping both employees and the business safe from bullying and harassment.
During this interactive session our employment specialists, Katie Davies and Lily Darwood, will provide you with practical advice, real-life examples, and case studies that show you how to identify and address concerns regarding workplace discrimination.
Our employment law and HR team will help you:
· Explore the principles of the Equality Act 2010
· Identify what constitutes discrimination and harassment and how to identify both
· Discuss some particular problem areas including recruitment and dismissals
So come along to make new connections, catch up with familiar faces at Wilkin Chapman LLP.
Katie Davies is a partner in the employment team based in our Grimsby and Louth offices.
Katie has been a partner at Wilkin Chapman since 2013, after joining the firm in 2004 and qualifying in 2006. She offers excellent client care and adapts to her clients’ needs. She prides herself on taking the time to understand her clients and their requirements.
Katie offers practical and commercial advice over a wide range of services, dealing with all aspects of employment issues and acting as a support to in-house HR teams. Her client portfolio covers sole traders, partnerships, SMEs, and PLCs.

She graduated with a First Class Honours Law Degree from the University of Leeds in 2018 and completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) with Distinction in 2019.
How does it work?
You will get a quick introduction from the Chamber team to welcome you to the event and to keep things interesting, the format will vary from event to event.
As a Chamber we want to ensure our networking events support our members and wider business community to make positive connections and to grow their networks. Chamber members and non-members are all welcome, and the price of admission includes tea, coffee and a light buffet lunch. Some membership packages include a free ticket to networking events – if you’d like to honour this and book your place, email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are interested in hosting a future network, please get in touch with our events team on the email address above.
