ChamberConnect: How to Have Difficult Conversations Workshop

Communicate more effectively to build, maintain or improve relationships especially in challenging circumstances and difficult conversations.

Funded by Collaboration 4 Growth (C4G) and presented by Phil Hutchinson from Lantern Development.

Dates & times

This workshop is split into two parts, so you will be required to attend both days.

Monday 6th July 10:00am – 12:00pm
Wednesday 8th July 10:00am – 12:00pm

Amongst other things we will go through what it takes to make your communication effective and then apply this to the topic of difficult conversations.

We will build on this by looking at delivery of challenging feedback and how to make your feedback heard, understood, accepted and acted upon.

We will look at what causes the difficulty in difficult conversations and consider different ways to plan prepare and manage these to improve outcomes and maintain relationships.

The delivery will be accompanied by a delegate handbook which will be sent electronically prior to the session.
