ChamberConnect: Exporting Made Simple

ChamberConnect is a series of interactive virtual events which have been designed to support businesses and their staff through the current Coronavirus crisis.

These events will allow you to learn, ask questions and stay up-to-date on a variety of topics which will be affecting your business at such an uncertain time.

Tune in via video conference app Zoom to hear from Mike Stokes from Exportential.

Firstly, we will look at all the things to put in place in order to be ready to start exporting :-
• Establishing objectives
• Modifying products and services
• Understanding how slow and how expensive exporting can be
• Recognising the help and support that is available

Then we will cover the things that new exporters need to do in order to actually get started in new overseas markets :-
• Conducting market research
• Selecting the most appropriate target markets
• Picking the most appropriate routes to market
• Evaluating and choosing the right trading partners
• How the Chamber can assist the exporting process – through online documentation – help and advice, support and training
