Bishop Burton College is located just outside the town of Beverley, in East Yorkshire, and we’re just a stone’s throw away from the vibrant cities of Hull, Leeds and York.

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, there’s everything you could possibly need right on your doorstep. York is steeped in culture, history and charm; Hull’s regeneration has led to it being named the City of Culture for 2017. Leeds also offers also metropolitan lifestyle, being the third largest city in the UK.

The College offers a wide range of courses for those looking for Further or Higher Education and many courses offer clear progression routes from Entry Level through to Honours Degrees and beyond.

Bishop Burton also offers a wide range of apprenticeships and work-based learning opportunities for those who would prefer to earn while they learn. We have an excellent student support network including welfare officers, sports development, chaplaincy and a warden service.

The main campus in Bishop Burton village is home to a 890 acre mixed farm, which includes a Freedom Food-assured high-welfare pig unit, dairy parlour, beef unit and sheep facilities.

The College also boasts a state-of-the-art equine unit and therapy centre, which incorporates the Olympic-standard Bishop Burton Arena, and animal management facilities.

Amenities include residential accommodation for more than 300 students, numerous catering establishments, a bar, sports centre and gym. Our sports teams, which often compete at the highest levels of college and university sport leagues, include football, rugby, hockey, pentathlon and netball.
