New Appointment within Construction and Consultancy Firm

Leading construction and consultancy firm LGG Projects has bolstered its team with the appointment of Neil Burnett as a site manager.

LGG Projects provides integrated services within the property and construction sector from high-end domestic alterations, renovations, commercial developments to self-build projects and fit-outs.

Neil, who has over 42 years of experience in the construction industry, previously worked as a freelance site manager for developers requiring construction expertise before joining the firm.

In his new position, Neil will be responsible for planning and running the day to day operation and workforce across a range of construction sites.

Neil’s first project with the firm includes the delivery of Bailgate Mount, which is a unique nine-unit residential development located on Motherby Hill, in Lincoln, due for completion in February 2018.

Neil said: “LGG Projects is a leading construction and consultancy firm across the region and is known for working on a number of impressive projects, which I was keen to get involved with. It is an ambitious company which takes a forward-thinking approach to construction, which was a huge appeal for me.

“I’m looking forward to working alongside the workforce based at Bailgate Mount and to help deliver this luxurious development of townhouses, which I anticipate to be extremely popular once complete.”

Neil, who lives in Lincoln, completed a five-year brickwork apprenticeship at Lincoln College and has since worked on a number of significant projects across the region.

Neil’s appointment comes only two weeks after the appointment of Lindsey Deakin as a managing surveyor and two months after the appointment of Charlotte Foster as an administrator, who are based at LGG Projects’ office on Tentercroft Street. The firm is currently recruiting for a number of other positions.

Director of LGG Projects, Paul Jakuc, said: “I’m pleased to welcome Neil to the LGG Projects team, he brings with him a wealth of experience in the construction industry and will help us to continue to deliver high-end schemes throughout Lincoln and Lincolnshire.

“Neil will be an asset to our team and I look forward to having his expertise shared across our current and future construction sites. I’d like to wish him the best of luck in his new position.”

LGG Projects has worked on a number of significant projects in the region, including the city’s premier mixed-use development; One The Brayford, due for completion later this year, and a yoga and wellness centre in the Allenby Business Village. The firm has also been chosen to work on The Parklands; a new residential development in the village of Sudbrooke.
