One of Lincolnshire’s oldest country fairs is back for 2019 with a celebration of Lincolnshire food and drink, and a world-famous headliner with a difference.

Revesby Country Fair will feature a headline appearance from The Imps Motorcycle Display Team, set against the backdrop of the historic Revesby park, the former home of famous botanist Sir Joseph Banks. The team previously headlined the main ring back in 2014 and has performed across the world for millions of people, making show-stopping appearances at The Edinburgh Military Tattoo and on the BBC.

The one-day show on Sunday 4th August 2019 will be championing the best local fayre, with the award-winning Fairburns Eggs, Lincolnshire Brewing Company and Redhill Farm already confirmed to be there, as well as Oslinc, Gelston Lamb and Rosie’s Country Kitchen. Lincolnshire’s celebrity chef Rachel Green will also be making a special appearance.

Flower arranging, clay pigeon shooting, archery and farrier events are just some of the activities that visitors can try for the first time.

Judged produce classes, cooking and garden-themed activities and egg and sponge cake decorating classes will also be taking place for the whole family to enjoy.

While for machinery enthusiasts, traditional vintage tractors, classic cars and farming vehicles will be on display.

John Roe, chairman of Revesby Country Fair, said: “This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever for visitors and local producers alike. Lincolnshire has so many talented crafters, cooks and creatives and we’ll be celebrating this with delicious food and drink from across the county.

“It’s going to a day packed full of entertainment, events and country pursuits. There’s something for everyone, from archery and clay pigeon shooting to flower arranging and climbing. I’d encourage everyone to come along, try something new and enjoy delicious Lincolnshire produce.

“We’ve still got spaces available for traders, so anyone interested should get in touch before they’re gone.”

Visitors can enter this year’s competition to win a free hamper full of Lincolnshire produce from this year’s food stalls by signing up for the show’s email newsletter at before 4pm on August 4th. The winner will be announced just after 4pm on the day itself.
