Events & News News All News Keeping Up The Pace - Banks Long & Co Lincoln-based Chartered Surveyor Banks Long & Co has out-performed the competition to win another prestigious award. The team at the Westgate business is celebrating being named Lincolnshire’s Most Active Agent 2019 by the respected industry journal Estates Gazette, for the third year running. Managing Director Tim Bradford said: “We are thrilled to win this award, which is extra special bearing in mind the quality of the other agents. Our success reflects two important facts – we’ve been intensely busy completing deals over the past year but we’ve also maintained our high standards. Well done to all our staff.” Banks Long & Co is active in the commercial, retail and investment sectors, a key partner in major regeneration and new development projects and currently involved in the refurbishment and creation of new build projects, together worth more than £100 milliion. The firm’s advertising boards can be spotted across Lincolnshire, but staff are finding their expertise increasingly in demand across the East Midlands and the wider UK. In Lincoln and Lincolnshire, the multi-award winning practice is working closely with Lincolnshire Co-op (as consultant, project manager and letting agent) and the Lindum Group on the stunning regeneration of Lincoln’s Cornhill Quarter. The development of the multi-phase £70 million-plus project, which has already attracted national name tenants, continues as construction continues on the four-storey landmark retail, restaurant and cinema block anchored by a four-screen Everyman cinema and the trail blazing cocktail bar and restaurant chain, The Botanist. The 28-strong Banks Long & Co team – led by five directors and four associate directors – is also involved in the ongoing development of the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park, the leasing of space at the 57-acre St Modwen Park, Lincoln and has recently been instructed to act on the ever-popular Riverside Enterprise Park and Enterprise West Lindsey, a 20-acre commercial development site located next to the A57 west of Lincoln. “We are delighted to have built on our proven reputation by winning the latest Estates Gazette accolade at a time when the property market in Lincolnshire is seeing a noticeable rise in confidence, creating a healthy environment to do deals,” added Mr Bradford.
