Chamber Annual Golf Day – Winners 2018

Our annual charity golf day took place on 11th October at Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort.

The sun was shining on a perfect autumnal day with no rain. 

The teams enjoyed a bit of course banter with last years winners Minster Surfacing in the running to retain their title.  It was a close thing with just a few points between the top 5 teams.  In the end Rilmac pipped the rest to the trophy for 2018.

Teams enjoyed light refreshments during the day and at the end of play, were served a fantastic meal in the restaurant at Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort.

Forest Pines are recent winners of Select Lincolnshire Hotel of the Year 2018 and it is rumoured that the dessert was so tasty, there some eyes on the spare sticky toffee pudding served with Banana Ice Cream and Liquid Toffee,  which followed the local Lincolnshire main course of Breast of Corn Fed Chicken stuffed with Lincolnshire Sausage with Swede Puree, Pink Peppercorn & Madeira Sauce.

A great way to end a round of golf and a beautiful day.

Lincolnshire Chambers’ chosen charity this year is Just Lincolnshire who will benefit from the proceeds from various activities throughout this year.  The proceeds will be presented to them at a date to be announced.
