Gainsborough library will soon benefit from some exciting improvements. The library will have a refurbished interior, new books and will have convenient self-service technology installed.

The refurbished library will include new carpets, signs and general decoration, as well as a dedicated computer suite and more computers for internet access. The large staff counter will be removed, leaving more space for new books.

In order to achieve these improvements the library will be closed or partially open from Friday 18 January until Monday 8 March 2010 Lincolnshire County Council will keep disruption for library users to a minimum and is undertaking the work in three phases.
