On Thursday the 13th of May our bi-monthly Sleaford Area Networking Lunch took place between 12:00 and 14:00 at The Carre Arms, Sleaford. Twenty-six delegates attended from a wide range of business sectors and enjoyed a two-course lunch with coffee as well as the opportunity to network with all the other delegates.

A drinks reception was held in the conservatory at the hotel before delegates took their seats around three tables in the restaurant area. Our tables were hosted by Catherine Winstanley of Belton Woods Hotel, John Stopper of Brook & Mayo and Ben Ellis of Chattertons Solicitors. All delegates were invited to take 60 seconds to introduce themselves and the company they were representing. This was a slightly different format than most events, but feedback has shown that it was well received and delegates found it useful to get an insight into a wide range of businesses.

Following the 60 second presentations, delegates were encouraged to raise questions around their tables whilst hotel staff served a lunch of free range chicken breast and broccoli in a Lincolnshire poacher cheese sauce, or the vegetarian option of baked courgette and tomato au gratin, both served with rice and vegetable pilaf. Rhubarb and ginger crumble flan with custard followed, along with coffee.
