The latest Lincolnshire Chamber Networking Event was held in Stamford, at the Crown Hotel on the 4th of February. Thirty two delegates attended, and the event was kindly sponsored by the National Apprenticeship Service. The event began at 12:00 and were met with arrival drinks in the main bar area and allowed to network for half an hour. At 12:30, delegates were called to their seats with a welcome introduction from the Chamber, followed by the event sponsor presentation by Diane Wilford from the National Apprenticeship Service. “The National Apprenticeship Service was delighted to sponsor the Chamber of Commerce Stamford networking event on 4th February at the Crown Hotel in Stamford. The event gave us the opportunity to speak to a wide range of employers about the benefits of employing Apprenticeships and answer individuals questions. We look forward to sponsoring more Chamber networking events in the future,” said Diane.
A two-course lunch of chicken breast and vegetables and crème brulee followed, and fresh coffee and mints were served after the dessert with a further opportunity for networking until 14:00. Sarah Anyan from Centrum Recovery won the business card draw, and was given two minutes to address the room to promote her business. There was a good mixture of delegates and businesses, with some attending who had not networked before. All the feedback was positive, and delegates were pleased with the venue.
