Lincoln East-West Link Road - We Need Your Views

Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) working in partnership with the City of Lincoln, North Kesteven District and West Lindsey District Councils would like to invite you to attend a public exhibition regarding the proposed Lincoln East-West Link road.

The East-West Link road is part of LCC's joint vision to make Lincoln and the surrounding communities a better place to work and live and to encourage growth and regeneration.

The East-West Link forms part of a wider Lincoln Transport Strategy and is also part of the City Centre Masterplan. It is a significant element of these ambitions, as it will improve transport links across the City, reduce traffic congestion, noise and vibration, whilst allowing the continued improvement of, and commitment to, public transport, walking and cycling

LCC will be holding a series of local exhibitions on the East West Link which will give you further information and the opportunity to raise any questions you may have with the East West Link team. Your views are important and, in holding this consultation, you may be sure that your opinions will be carefully collated and seriously considered.

Information about the dates and venues of the local exhibitions is given below:

Thursday 8 July 2010, 11.00am - 8.00pm
St Mary’s Guildhall, 385 High Street, Lincoln
