Transformational ICT Workshop is a winner in Lincoln

Transformational ICT is part of the Government's Solutions for Business portfolio of business support and is designed to help businesses to exploit advanced Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) to transform their business processes. 

The free ‘Planning an e-mail marketing campaign’ workshop delivered by Transformational ICT on the 18th June 2010 at the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce was fully booked and the feedback was excellent. 

The workshop covered all aspects of planning, designing, running and measuring an e-mail marketing campaign and also introduced low cost tools and methods to help businesses get started. Business delegates left the workshop with an action plan that allowed them to manage their first campaign.

Karen Jacklin of Game Engineering Ltd who attended the workshop said, “This was a great workshop with lots of practical applicable data and information. Business to business courses are always a great find; thanks.”

The advantages of email marketing are many; they include the ability to distribute targeted information to a wide range of specific, potential customers at a relatively low cost. Compared to other media investments such as direct mail or printed newsletters, e-mail marketing is much less expensive and an exact return on investment can be tracked.

The next free ‘planning an e-mail marketing campaign’ workshop will be running on 24th September 2010 at the Guildhall Arts Centre, Grantham.
