Lincolnshire Show Networking Success - Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, UK

On Thursday the 24th of June 2010 the Lincolnshire Chamber hosted its annual networking lunch in the Members’ Lounge of the Lincolnshire Showground. The event is the largest of our Lincolnshire networking lunches and this year attracted over 80 delegates, both members and non-members. All of our delegates also received a ticket to the Lincolnshire Show, which they were free to attend after our two-course lunch, held between 12.00pm and 2.30pm.

On arrival, delegates were greeted with a drinks reception whilst networking amongst other guests before being seated for a sponsor presentation at 12.30pm. This year, our sponsor was Invest Lincolnshire and the 2010 Olympic project in which county businesses can become involved. Once seated at their tables, delegates were encouraged to each take a couple of minutes to introduce themselves and hand out business cards. Our Networking Events also offer our delegates the opportunity to be entered into a business card draw; the winner of this is able to promote their products and services to the entire room for another couple of minutes.

The event came to a close at 2.30pm, which still gave everyone plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the Lincolnshire Show.
